ASUS Transformer Pad 300: Best Value for Money tablet [MWC2012]

Asus Transformer Pad 300 is the most affordable Asus gets with tablets without getting cheap: the TF Pad 300 drops the aluminum for plastic and the price dips a $100 below the Transformer Prime to $399.
The new Asus Tansformer Pad 300 is so far the most affordable tablet from Asus. Asus drops the aluminium enclosure with plastic and drastically reduces the price to around RM300 cheaper. The Pad 300 is still a serious computing machine powered by NVIDIA’s quad-core Tegra 3 chip, but it’s slightly bulkier. The Transformer Pad 300 is 0.39” (9.9mm) thick and tips the scales at 22.4 ounces (635 g).
The screen on the TF Pad 300 is almost the same great screen as on the Transformer Prime – it’s an IPS one with a resolution of 1280×800 pixels. When it comes to connectivity, Asus is likely to offer 4G LTE as an option. There’s also 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory.
We think the Pad 300 has great value for money with such specs in such price. What do you think?

ASUS Malaysia: Transformer Prime before CNY mostly at RM2199

The long awaited ASUS Transformer Prime will finally be here before the Chinese New Year Week. That means it will be here next week!

It is safe to say that it will be priced at RM2199 although there is no official announcement from ASUS Malaysia, but there are sources which priced the ASUS Transformer Prime at RM2199 and there are also pre-ordering already available a month ago from a few places and websites (With Keyboard Dock). Maybe you can get it cheaper without the Keyboard Dock.

And it is quite certain that we will be getting the Transformer Prime which is earlier announced and not the recently unveiled Transformer Prime in CES 2012 which comes with HD screen (1080p display with a 1920×1200 pixel SuperIPS+ screen) and improved front facing camera.

If you want a brand new toy to show off to your relatives this coming Chinese New Year, the ASUS Transformer Prime will blow them off!

ASUS Transformer Prime will be late

Are you waiting for the ASUS Transformer Prime? We know many of us are, it is very highly anticipated! And we cant wait to lay our hands on it also. But apparently, the worldwide release of the tablet has been delayed until next year due to WiFi range problems and ASUS wants to resolve this problem before shipping the anticipated tablet.

The Transformer Prime is supposed to be shipping this month but now we will have to put our hands together and pray the problem will be resolved as soon as posible!

It seems like we wont be getting the ASUS Transformer Prime until after January 2012. How do you feel?

ASUS Transformer Prime with Ice Cream Sandwich [Video]

The ASUS highly anticipated tablet is official for a few weeks now and there haven’t been much news about it. But now we have a video on the Transformer Prime running Ice Cream Sandwich with its Tegra 3 Quad-core processor. And it looks yummy! Especially with the thickness of only 8.3mm! Check on the short video running through various demos and a highly demanding game which looks really good and smooth.

Here you go:

The ASUS Transformer Prime will ship in the US on December and we expect it to reach here around January 2012 (finger crossed). It will not ship with the Ice Cream Sandwich but ASUS promises an upgrade.

If you do not know how good this tablet is, check out ASUS’s official Transformer Prime’s page recently put up.

We have to say that what we love most on the Transformer Prime is the processor. What do you love most on the Transformer Prime?
